THE ROCKABYBOO STORY

Once upon a time in a small village in England, there was a little girl who loved to sing. She sang from the moment she opened her eyes till the moment she closed them to sleep…

One day she decided to set out on a journey in search of other people who loved music as much as she did… She waved ‘Goodbye’ to her Mama and Daddy, sisters & brothers and set off on her big adventure along the Multicoloured Road of Music… Her family were always very happy whenever Boo sang and they knew they would miss her beautiful voice but they knew she must find other people like her who loved music more than the Stars…

Along the way she met a friendly gentleman who also loved music very much… He said he could help to capture Boo’s voice inside a magical box that could be shown to the World, so that lots of other people could hear her sing… Boo thought this was a great idea and their friendship began…

It would be a friendship that would continue for many many years and their love of music grew and grew together…

One day Boo said to her friend, “Jon, the most precious thing in my World are my nieces and nephews… For some time now i have been writing lullabies and stories for them and each child has a song and story with their name in it… a song that belongs to them…” To which Jon replied, “That’s wonderful Boo! But what about all the other children who don’t have their own lullabies and stories?” Boo thought on this for a moment and after a long chat with Jon and her best friend Ben, it was decided that that was exactly what they would do!

They knew it was going to be a lot of hard work, singing every single name individually and narrating each story for each child; but they knew it was worth it because every child is special and every child counts…

They had recorded 1000’s of Children’s names when suddenly Ben had a great idea… “Boo!” he said, rushing into the room. “Why don’t we create something that will allow parents to play the lullabies and stories to their Children, no matter where they are! If we could fashion something to go on those magical devices that The Parents carry around, they would be able to play the songs and stories in their nursery or in their flying cars or even just when the Children are enjoying their quiet time…”

Boo and Jon thought this was a splendid idea but how in the World would they create something like that? They loved writing music and stories but they didn’t know how to make magical things like that!

Then Boo said, “Wait! I’ve got it! What about The Inventor?”

James, The Inventor, lived in a Far Away Land… It was known to everyone that his house was made of Lego and it reached all the way up to the Moon… His best friend was a Hippopotamus named Fred and every day he invented something brand new!

So Boo and her friends headed to the Far Away Land in search of The Inventor…

They had been walking for many days when suddenly up ahead they saw The Inventor’s house. It was indeed made of Lego and it was glorious! The trio rang the bell which played “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” and already they knew he was the right person to include in their adventure… The door opened and they walked inside…

What happened next will have to remain a secret I’m afraid, as The Inventor doesn’t like sharing his ideas with anybody!

What i can tell you is that that day a very magical thing was made…

It’s name?
